S.H.L. (“Single Hand Launcher”, “the app”) is an Android home-screen launcher developed by Mayank Joshi (“we”, “us”). This policy explains what data the app handles and why.

S.H.L. is designed to be private. The list of your installed apps and everything you customize (favorites, folders, gesture shortcuts, settings) stays on your device. The only data that leaves your device is anonymous crash and basic usage diagnostics, used to keep the app stable.
QUERY_ALL_PACKAGES permission. This list is read on-device only and is never transmitted off the device. To find and fix crashes and understand basic, aggregate usage, the app uses Google Firebase:
This diagnostic data is processed by Google as our service provider. See Google's Privacy Policy and Firebase data practices.
QUERY_ALL_PACKAGES — core launcher function: discover installed apps to display and launch them.INTERNET, ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE — upload anonymous crash/diagnostic reports to Firebase.SET_WALLPAPER — let you change the wallpaper from the launcher.EXPAND_STATUS_BAR — open the notification shade with a gesture.REQUEST_DELETE_PACKAGES — show the system uninstall dialog when you uninstall an app from the long-press menu.Diagnostic data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS) and retained by Firebase per Google's default retention periods. On-device data persists until you clear the app's data or uninstall it.
S.H.L. is a general-purpose utility and is not directed at children under 13.
We may update this policy; material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above.
